At Holistix we treat exercise and fitness as therapy. When you start your journey with with us, we don’t just focus on the performance aspect of training, we want you to be the best version of yourself both physically and mentally. We recognise how exercise and movement can greatly have a positive impact on your mental and physical health, well-being, and physical performance when done correctly, that is why we take a holistic approach to your health and fitness journey.

Our personal trainers are highly experienced and will take a detailed history of your overall health concerns (both mental and physical), your lifestyle, commitments and habits, alongside an initial health screening and functional assessment to formulate specific goals and a bespoke training plan that is centred around you.

We have accumulated vast wealth of expert knowledge and experience. Areas of experience include, but not limited to:

What to expect

Training sessions typically last for one hour and will be 1-2-1 or in small groups and a typical training programme/ block will last for 12 weeks.

When you take up a 1-2-1 personal training package you will have an initial health screening and functional assessment, discussion of you goals you want to achieve to formulate a training programme.

The health screening can include:

  • History of your health conditions and medications

  • Blood pressure check

  • Resting heart rate

  • Height, weight, and BMI

  • Girth measurements

  • Body fat %

The functional assessment, can include

  • Range of motion testing

  • Muscle length testing

  • Posture analysis

  • Balance and stability

  • Functional movements i.e. Lunge and squat

  • Strength testing
